Privacy Policy
I'm Melvin Romero, a sole proprietor operating Ratio Studio from Fort Worth, Texas. This explains what information I collect through ratiostudio.co and during client engagements, how I use it, and the choices you have.
Information I collect
- Audit intake and contact requests. When you submit the brand audit booking form, I collect your full name, email address, channel or brand URL, subscriber count tier, primary brand challenges, and any optional notes you add.
- The Brand Baseline Calculator. Inputs to the interactive calculator are processed in your browser only — nothing is stored or sent to a server.
- Public data benchmarking. To run a quantitative brand audit, I analyze publicly available data from YouTube and other platforms — public subscriber counts, public like and comment counts, and channel or grid layout coherence. I don't collect private account credentials or private analytics unless you provide them explicitly, under a signed agreement.
- Billing information. If you engage Ratio Studio for a paid project, billing details are processed through Stripe. I don't store your full card details myself — Stripe handles and secures that under its own practices.
How I use it
- To prepare a preliminary public-data audit ahead of a discovery call
- To respond to inquiries, schedule calls, and deliver strategy reports
- To send project updates and agreement terms for work you've requested
I don't sell, rent, or trade your information.
Who I share it with
Two providers handle specific parts of the work:
- Resend — delivers form notifications and email. Intake-form data is sent over an encrypted connection.
- Stripe — processes payment for paid engagements.
I don't use either to sell or market to you on my behalf.
Your rights
Wherever privacy law gives you rights over your data — access, correction, deletion, or withdrawing consent — you can exercise them by emailing me. I'll respond within a reasonable timeframe, except where I'm required to retain something by law or an active contract.
Data retention
Project data is kept for the length of an engagement and a reasonable period after, for recordkeeping. Inquiry data from people who don't become clients is kept only as long as it's useful, and deleted on request.
Children's privacy
Ratio Studio serves creators and businesses, not children. This site isn't directed at anyone under 16, and I don't knowingly collect information from children.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Changes to this policy
I'll update this page as my practices change, and update the date above when I do.
