Terms of Service
By using this website, requesting a Brand Baseline Score, or hiring Ratio Studio for brand strategy work, you agree to these terms. Ratio Studio is a sole proprietorship operated by me, Melvin Romero, based in Fort Worth, Texas.
1. Services
I provide quantitative brand audits, strategic positioning, and applied visual identity design for creators and brands, delivered across three tiers: Brand Foundation, Brand System, and Brand Intelligence.
- Public data auditing. Every Brand Baseline Score I publish or deliver is generated using a platform-specific instrument applied to public data — upload frequency, public likes and comments, thumbnail grid coherence, and similar signals.
- Analyst judgment. Dimensions like differentiation and audience alignment reflect my professional judgment as an analyst, developed during the engagement and always labeled as judgment — never scored inside the published /100.
2. Payment and engagement

Every engagement follows the same four-stage process — Audit, Strategy, Identity, Review — over a minimum of four weeks. Review is never skipped or compressed, and the process is never shortened to three stages. Deliverables and revision rounds are detailed in your project agreement; work beyond that scope is billed at your tier's overage rate, with your approval first.
3. Ownership
Once you've paid in full, I transfer full ownership and usage rights of the final approved deliverables — logos, guidelines, templates — to you. I retain the right to show completed work, baseline scores, and non-confidential case studies in my own portfolio, unless you request confidentiality in writing before the engagement begins.
4. No guarantee of results
A Brand Baseline Score and the strategy built from it are evidence-based assessments meant to sharpen your visual and positioning decisions. I don't guarantee specific subscriber growth, revenue, or immunity from platform algorithm changes — those depend on factors outside my control.
5. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, my total liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. I'm not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of my services or this site.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts of Tarrant County, Texas.
7. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your signed proposal governs that engagement.
